I am part of Alamos Wildlands, a non-profit that operates Navopatia Field Station on the Agiabampo Estuary in southwest Sonora. Our central goal is the creation of a preserve of "pitayal", the densest Organ Pipe Cactus forest in the range of the species. We teach, do research, outreach, and host guests from around the world. We have been in place for more than a decade. Please visit our website at www.alamoswildlands.org.
